Klimax Twin

Linn's statement stereo power amplifier is the product of more than 30 years of amplifier development. It incorporates their patented "Chakra" topology, maximising current delivery (contributes to more accurate control of the speakers) whilst maintaining a very short signal path (contributes to articulacy, subtlety of pitch, and translation of fine detail). Manufacturers must usually choose which parameter to optimise, current or signal path, but achieving both is the real trick.

So, I'm saying the Twin sounds great, but the proof of the pudding is, of course, not found in words...

Suggested combinations: while the Klimax Twin will transform the performance of almost any speaker, it is perhaps most at home with those that are highly revealing, such as Linn Akubariks. That said, Linn's Majik Isobariks plus a Klimax Twin outperforms Akubariks with a Majik amplifier.

Regarding source quality, little or no compromise should be accepted; an appropriate Linn DS or LP12 are recommended.
